My October challenge is a consistency challenge

Updated: Oct 1, 2022

CONSISTENCY is key and the areas in which you show up consistently reveals where you can be trusted. It’s very funny that we all are consistent beings LOL either in excuses or whatever.

This challenge is meant to help me and you stay dedicated to our goals and stay focused on the things and activities we want to achieve.

Being consistent in your efforts leads to self-discipline, teaches you self-control, improves your overall personality, and builds momentum. When you are consistent, you have a sense of accountability and direction that translates to progress.

So what is the challenge - Select 3 things that you want to be consistent at or areas that you want to be trusted in.

Example - I want to read the bible every day.

1. Identify your why - I want to mature my relationship with my father so reading the bible everyday will help me know the truth of who God is and guides me on the daily principles to abide by.

2. Set a time that you will show up and make it a priority - it’s very easy to get side tracked because we often have a huge to do list for the day BUT you need to figure this out to know what always comes first. This way you never have to be overwhelmed trying to figure out what goal you should tackle when things get to be ‘too much”. It will always be your priority

3. Find something that keeps you going - join a bible study group, have accountability partners, weekly fellowship every Sundays, get a mentor or get connected to someone with similar results.

4. Ignore your feelings - YES we do not always feel like it but remember the fruit of consistency is not immediate, don’t pull your strength from your results. Rather watch some motivational story or follow some one that has already achieved the results you want.

BIBLE MOTIVATION - GALATIANS 6:9

Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.

REMEMBER –it takes hard work, falling in love with the process to get to what you want. And your consistency will attract the help and support of what you working towards.

Are you ready!? We start the Consistency Challenge on Oct 1st, but feel free to get a head start right now! Be sure to sign up for our newsletter in the future and follow us on social to stay up to date!

Hi family, happy new month (Ocsistency month)

Last week I left you with a task to decide on the 3 things you want to work on, just checking have you made your list and planned on how you are going to do it?

This month I commit to be consistent in the following areas (my 3 things)

1. I want to prioritize my devotion time

2. Eat like a nutritionist

3. Committing to 6 days of exercise

I also encourage you to write down your 3 things in the comments section so that we can be accountable for each other.

With your list you can also implement the following, these are the basics for our well-being

1. Start your day with prayer and end it with prayer

2. Commit to a healthy relationship with self

3. Believe you can

4. Set time daily to check in with self (how am I, what do need) and be brave enough to give it to self

5. Prioritize self-development (pick a book that matches the season you are in with your life)

6. Move your body with kindness and presence (make it fun, feel the sensation that comes with the movement)

7. Support yourself with loving thoughts

We are committed to our consistency, happy Ocsistency month!!!
