Each day, we’ll focus on clean eating while also incorporating a spiritual practice to detox our hearts and minds. Day 1: Fresh Start Food: Hydrate with warm lemon water in the morning. Eat fresh fruits, salads, and whole grains. Avoid processed foods. Spiritual Detox: Spend time in prayer, asking God to cleanse your heart and renew your mind (Psalm 51:10). Day 2: Nourish Your Body & Spirit Food: Include leafy greens like spinach, kale, and collard greens. Enjoy a smoothie with banana, spinach, and almond milk. Spiritual Detox: Limit social media and replace that time with reading Scripture. Reflect on Philippians 4:8. Day 3: Hydration & Purity Food: Drink plenty of herbal teas and water. Eat detoxifying foods like cucumbers, celery, and watermelon. Spiritual Detox: Repent and let go of anything weighing on your heart. Meditate on 1 John 1:9. Day 4: Fasting & Deep Reflection Food: Try a light fast until noon with fruit or smoothies. Eat lentils, beans, and quinoa for protein. Spiritual Detox: Spend time in silence and worship. Listen to worship music and journal your thoughts. Day 5: Light & Clean Eating Food: Avoid heavy carbs. Stick to vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Try a raw food meal like a veggie wrap or salad. Spiritual Detox: Speak positive affirmations over yourself and others. Read Proverbs 18:21. Day 6: Gratitude & Restoration Food: Make a hearty vegetable soup. Enjoy sweet potatoes, avocados, and fermented foods for gut health. Spiritual Detox: Write down things you are grateful for and pray over them (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Day 7: Renewal & Commitment Food: Enjoy a balanced meal with whole grains, nuts, fruits, and veggies. Avoid added sugars. Spiritual Detox: Commit to maintaining a purified heart beyond this detox.
